The basis
LivescoreBet is an upcoming sportsbook with an interface designed to mirror the current Livescore portfolio. The focus was to create a product in which the current Livescore audience could seamlessly transition from a scoring/media environment into a sportsbook. Key targets for creating LivescoreBet were to align the calendar-style navigation within media, mirror user journeys across both products to reduce pain points, apply the existing brand UI and look at ways users we could provide personalisation. I have been the sole UI designer on LivescoreBet since inception, February 2020.

The Evolution
What began as a white-label quickly transitioned into developing new features, adapting the navigation style and creating a convergence between all Livescore products. This process involved comparing the Virgin Bet basis and existing Livescore portfolio to optimise and align the best user experience possible and then evolving a UI library to satisfy the requirements. This was my first experience in creating an interface in a 'dark mode' style and looking at differing ways to create hierarchy, managing strong contrasts to avoid eye strain and utilising a palette that took the environment into consideration.
A-Z
An updated A-Z to include results within a sportsbook environment, converging with existing Livescore products.
Navigation
The new calendar style top-navigation follows a similar structure to existing Livescore products in which the primary navigation is based upon date. The default of 'Today' is auto scrolled to the latest in-play event, however the user can also scroll backwards to see results from today.
The second line of navigation divides up each sport, with personalisation added through a Favourites and Highlights tab.
